How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy is a space for everyone. If you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating life changes, or simply want to understand yourself better, I am here to support your growth.

What happens during the first session?

After we have had a free 15-minute consultation and determined we are a good fit, we will schedule an intake appointment. In this appointment, we will go over your history and anything you feel is relevant for me to know. There will be a chance to get questions answered and last, but certainly not least, we will discuss goals and develop a plan for how we can get you to where you want to be. 

What if I need to cancel a session?

If you need to cancel a session, reach out to me as soon as possible to let me know. If a session is canceled with less than a 24-hour notice, there is a cancellation fee of $100. If you have an outstanding cancellation fee, that fee must be paid before the next date of service.

Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

I understand life is busy. I am proud to currently be able to offer evenings and weekend availability!

How does virtual therapy work?

I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform for appointments. You will receive a link via your preferred communication method before each appointment that will open the session platform for you. 

Is insurance accepted?

I currently accept Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance plans. For those who don't wish to use insurance or who do not have insurance, I offer private pay options and sliding scale options for those in financial need. My goal is to make professional care accessible and straightforward, so you can focus on your journey towards better mental wellness.

How long are therapy sessions?

Sessions are typically 53-60 minutes in length.
